Stockport Christmas Centrepiece Workshop 2021

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."

Our favourite time of year has arrived & so have our ever-popular Christmas Workshops; join us for an afternoon of festive centrepiece making, minced pies & mulled wine merriment at The Oddfellow Arms in Mellor!

In this 2 hour session learn to make & decorate your own fresh eco-friendly centrepiece; perfect to use on your Christmas dinner table or to decorate the home. Using our vast array of luxurious materials; from spruce, Eucalyptus, mixed foliages, flowers & decorations you will create a centrepiece contained within a re-usable wooden vessel. 

All materials used are reusable and/or recyclable & everything needed will be provided on the evening. However, if you do have any personal decorations or fairy lights that you wish to add into your arrangement, please feel free to bring them along too. 

This is a relaxed & informal workshop where you are free to be as creative as you want & decorate in a way that suits your own personal style & taste. You will be guided through the process step-by-step so don't worry if you have never tried this before - our workshops are perfect for beginners to serial crafters alike. There are no strict design rules - just have fun, get festive & enjoy yourself!

This event has an optional festive afternoon tea add on available for an additional £16.95 per person. To purchase this option, please choose the 'Centrepiece & festive afternoon tea' ticket option. 

Festive afternoon tea includes:

• Sandwiches: Turkey & stuffing, Brie & cranberry and Honey roasted ham & tomato. 
• Mini scones: Orange & cranberry and plain. 
• Desserts: Chocolate brownie, Lemon drizzle and Macaroons
• Plus, a wine, beer or tea drink option. 

The wonderful staff at The Oddfellows Arms will be on hand throughout the session to serve you drinks (and food) if you wish; from Prosecco, to gins to hot drinks. Our table centrepiece sessions include a homemade mince pie & a glass of festive mulled wine. Please note that the 'Festive afternoon tea' doesn't come included with the ticket unless purchasing the 'Centrepiece & festive afternoon tea!' ticket option.

PLEASE NOTE: our workshops adhere to all Government policies regarding Covid-19. Our workshops will run in a safe manner. All equipment & work surfaces will be clean & sterile. Hand sanitiser will be available at each work station too.

In the event that restrictions come into place (fingers crossed that they don't!) that result in cancellation of this workshop, you will be offered the option of either a full refund, a DIY Christmas wreath kit so that you can make your wreath in the comfort of your own home (delivered free of charge) or the option to use the cost of the workshop as a credit against one of our ready-made Christmas wreaths.
